This site sets no tracker requiring consent. Here is what it does set nonetheless, why, and what you remain free to block.
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. Some are essential to how it works; others are used to measure audience or to personalise what is displayed.
This site sets no tracker requiring consent. It therefore displays no consent banner: there is nothing for you to accept.
They keep the site and the client area working: log-in session, security, and remembering whether you prefer the light or the dark display. They are exempt from consent under the law and cannot be switched off.
The theme preference is technically not a cookie: it is kept in your browser’s local storage, is never sent to our servers, and disappears if you clear the site’s data.
We use Plausible, an audience measurement tool operated by a company established in Estonia, on infrastructure located within the European Union.
Plausible sets no cookie and uses no persistent identifier. It therefore cannot recognise you from one visit to the next, nor follow you from one site to another. No personal data is collected, and no data is sold or shared. This arrangement does not require your consent — and there is, in fact, nothing to refuse.
The only information produced is aggregate statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, referrer, device type, country.
No advertising cookie, no social network tracker, no resale of browsing data. This site does not carry out advertising retargeting.
No banner is forced on you because no tracker calls for one. You nonetheless keep control: you can set your browser to block all or part of the cookies, and block the audience measurement script — which sets nothing anyway.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent access to the client area.
Should we one day set a tracker requiring consent — which is not planned — a banner would appear, refusing would be as simple as accepting, and this page would be updated before it went live.
